Abstract

In today’s scenario, everybody in the world is looking forward for cleaner and better environment for better living standards. Despite the fact that China is most populous country in the world and India is second largest in terms of population in the world, China is still positioned at higher rank than India according to sustainable development report of 2021. This paper is attempt by researcher to carry out comparative study between India and China in terms of renewable source of energy. Further paper discusses about challenges which are there in renewable sources of energy and what are the policies adopted by the two countries to mitigate these challenges. Paper will provide the insights about future of renewable energy and suggestion for the researchers and policy makers to overcome the challenges in adoption of renewable sources of energy.
