Construction of Cd(<scp>ii</scp>)-based metal–organic frameworks incorporating SiF62− as fluorescence sensors for arginine

Two novel Cd(ii)-based metal–organic frameworks are constructed from an imidazole-containing ligand and SiF62− anions, and both of them exhibit a fluorescence sensing capacity for arginine via a turn-on effect.
