Abstract

We propose a server-side framework of sensor-based cloud applications to collect real-time user data for surveillance and tracking in a predefined area, such as a park, a garden, and so on. We provide a typical device for tracking users’ location and health status to handle emergencies. Queries have been generated and sent to the particular service cloud to handle the nature of these emergencies. An automated alert has been generated to a server-side system framework for monitoring purposes and to further send the rescue team to initiate precautionary measures. The user's location is tracked by latitude and longitude values. The proposed system has been utilized for continuously checking user's health using distinct upper and lower threshold values. Inconsistent users’ data generate automated notifications within the system framework. We have designed a system framework using a sensor device, data cloud, and social media for monitoring purposes using simulations such as graphs and tables with an attempt to optimize software and hardware utilization, along with user security in an energy-efficient manner.
