Abstract
- Workplace stress is natural and sometime inventible. It is the existing response of human under difficult environment. In fact, adequate amount of stress keeps a person motivated towards his work. However, high level of stress may cause completely opposite situations for a person. A good leader is who can identify the reason of stress in his employee and can eliminate the reason simultaneously. This research focuses on the level of stress among the employees of ITeS–BPO companies and its connection with the level and background of education of a respondent. ITeS–BPO companies located at Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR) was the population for selecting the sample units. The target population of employees of ITeS–BPO include call-floor executives and operational managers at all levels but excluded back-end support staff from departments like HR and administration ITeS–BPO companies. This paper will help the manager to improve the management to minimize the stress in his organization or workplace. Since the competitive environment, technological advancement, HR Practices, economic development, social development are taking place every day the stress level of employees are increasing respectively. As a result, the employees are faced with the problems like pressure, strain, anxiety, tension, trauma which ultimately leads to decrease in productivity.
