Abstract

Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) is the most commonly diagnosed congenital malformation in newborns [ 1 ]. It includes a broad spectrum of congenital heart conditions, with some of them presenting with life-threatening symptoms. However, the advancement in diagnosis and treatment of even the most complex types of CHD has led to significant improvement in the long- term outcomes of these patients.
