Discusses the growth of literature in LIS as published in two major Library and information science periodical in India ie. ILA and IASLIC Bulletin. Reviews the literature published from 1996-2000 and gives findings based on this study. The study discloses an uneven distribution of published literature among various topics of library and information sciences. IT based papers received less space in both journals and study assets.
