Pre-Analysis Plan: The politics of public allocation of scarce goods: Evidence from the COVID-19 vaccination programme

In this project, we study the allocation of the COVID-19 vaccine during the current pandemic. The roll-out of the vaccination program provides a unique opportunity to study the determinants of citizens’ attitudes towards the public allocation of scarce goods. We seek to answer the following research questions: (1) How can governments increase the willingness to get vaccinated and (2) what governments can do to increase the support for the allocation of vaccinations.
