Studies on Dithiocarbamates : Part V. Kinetic Studies on 3,5-Disubstituted tetrahydro-1, 3,5-thiadiazine-2-thiones

Kinetic studies on the titled compounds under acidic and alkaline pH have been carried out; and the corresponding activation parameters (\(\bigtriangleup\)G*,\(\bigtriangleup\)H* &\(\bigtriangleup\)S*) suggestthat the mode of acid-degradation is different from that of alkaline-degradation. Mechanisms consistent with observed data have been suggested.
