Abstract
- We evaluated the latest pathological criteria for completion right hemicolectomy (RHC) in patients with appendiceal neuroendocrine tumors (ANETs) with emphasis on the size of the primary tumor. Data of 28 consecutive patients who underwent RHC for ANETs in three tertiary hospitals were reviewed retrospectively to assess the indications for completion RHC. 10/28 patients were found to have residual disease (36%).
