Abstract
- International audience; Central obesity and long-term glucocorticoid exposure are both characterized by visceral fat enlargement and increased risk for metabolic diseases. In this issue of Cell Metabolism, Lindroos et al. identify LIM domain only 3 as a molecular partner for glucocorticoids required for adipocyte differentiation specifically in human visceral fat.
