Notes: The figures given here of Spokane, Washington (Figs. 121–127) and Umatilla County, Oregon (Figs. 128–135) specimens deviate somewhat from the description and illustrations of the species given by Shear (1971). This may represent geographic variation or may be due to viewing the gonopods (particularly the complicated posterior gonopod coxites) from slightly differing angles. Alternatively, genetic studies may eventually reveal that this variation represents distinct species. Illustrations (Figs. 136, 137) of a specimen from Missoula Co., Montana, seem closer to the figures in Shear (1971) and Loomis and Schmitt (1971).
