Abstract

Anisoscelis (Anisoscelis) scutellaris St��l (Figs. 5���6, 19) Anisoscelis scutellaris St��l, 1870: 159 Diagnosis. Head pale yellowish orange; antennal segments I���IV pale to dark yellow; pronotum pale orange, collar and anterolateral margins yellow, posterolateral borders, posterior border and wide triangular spot at middle third of posterior lobe black with metallic bluish-green reflections; scutellum black with metallic bluish-green reflections; clavus pale to dark orange; corium pale to dark orange with anterior border yellow, with inner almost complete black longitudinal stripe; hemelytral membrane dark brown; connexivum dark brown with upper border dark yellow; dorsal abdominal segments dark brown; labial segments (apex of IV black), legs pale yellow; inner expansion of hind tibiae shiny reddish, posterior margin black and two yellow marks one at basal point and the other much wider near midline; outer expansion dark reddish brown with proximal and distal third pale yellowish orange; labium reaching middle third of abdominal sternite III; humeral angles subacute, slightly expanded, and directed backward. Material examined. New records. Colombia: 3 females, Tolima, Ibague, El Totumo, 1100 m, 04��23.701���N ��� 075��11.950���W, on fish carrion baited butterfly trap, 6���9-VII-2013, leg. J. E. Eger (UNAM); 1 male, Huila, Gigante, 1982 (without date), leg. Rochas (UNAM). Biological notes.
