Scatina estotilandica Rondani, 1863 ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: 1863: 35. TYPE LOCALITY: “ Labrador [Labrador (Canada)]”. TYPE MATERIAL: not found in this study. CURRENT STATUS: valid species, as Scathophaga estotilandica (Aldrich 1905: 568); valid species, unplaced in Scathophagidae (as “ Scathophaginae ”) (Vockeroth 1965: 842). REMARKS: Rondani (1863: 35) described Scatina estotilandica from just the female sex, without giving any measurement of length, from material received from M. Spinola. Costa (1866: 34) listed a single MZUN specimen numbered “719”, which we did not locate in this study.
