- Measurements of von Willebrand factor ristocetin cofactor activity (VWF:RCo) are necessary for the diagnosis of von Willebrand disease (VWD). However, the conventional manual glass-plate method is technically demanding, and exhibits high intra-/inter-laboratory variation.
