Abstract
- A patient with simultaneous posterior and anterior interosseous nerve syndromes is presented. During induction of anesthesia, the paralyzed muscles exhibited denervation sensitivity to succinylcholine. Following exploration and repair of a posterior interosseous nerve defect, full function returned in the dorsal muscles as well as the flexor pollicis longus and pronator quadratus muscles.
