Abstract

This data deposit contains the following files: 'OSA.zip' - coniains raw data captured by an optical spectrum analyzer (OSA) and used for generating Fig. 1E and 3C. 'RF.zip' - contains RF beatnote signal captured by an oscilloscope and used for generating Fig. S2B and S2C. 'Static_partx.zip', 'Sweep_partx.zip', 'Sweep_2.zip', 'Step.zip', 'MLL.zip' - contains raw data of waveforms captured byan oscilloscope (details can be found below). 'Figs.zip' - contains MATLAB code (version R2017a or higher) used for generating all figures except those mentioned above (OSA and RF). 'Infiniium.m' - a customized .bin converter for reading the raw data files and load them into MATLAB. Information on the raw data files: The waveforms from 'Static', 'Sweep', 'Step' and 'MLL' are captured by an Agilent Infiniium oscilloscope with 4 channels. Data are stored using its internal .bin format to increase storage efficiency. Each file contains the following waveforms: signal laser beating with comb 1 (channel 1), signal laser beating with comb 2 (channel 2), comb 1 beating with comb 2 (channel 3) and reference laser beatnote (channel 4). These files can be imported into MALTAB by the'Infiniium.m' converter. In the case that transmission through the gas cell need to be monitored, the waveform is captured by another oscilloscoped synced to the first one, and its waveform at channel 1 are stored in .bin files in 'Sweep_2'. Information on the codes for figure generation: After all raw data files are extracted and placed under respective folders, the MATLAB codes can import them and, using the algorithms described in the manuscript, generate processed data sets as well as figures.Titles of the .m files indicate the figure(s) it generates. These codes will invoke 'Infiniium.m' when loading the data and this file should be added to the search path.
