Brief treatment of homosexual patients

This paper has presented the experience of a brief treatment team in treating 16 homosexual patients who were in crisis. They were seen for one to three interviews. We have discussed the challenges to the therapists' value system in treating homosexual patients and the importance of delineating the patients' priorities.
