Modalités atones et toniques dans les discours persuasifs

Cet article cherche à contribuer à la problématique des modalités depuis une perspective tensive. Pour ce faire, nous considérerons les modalités atones et toniques. La proposition théorique est issue de l’analyse d’un discours persuasif, créé au Mexique par le Secrétariat de la Santé dans le but de faire baisser la consommation des substances alimentaires nocives lorsque ingérées en excès. Ce travail approfondit la relation complexe entre les modalités implicites et les modalités atones à travers l’étude de l’étiquetage visible sur les emballages des produits mis en vente. Ces réflexions ont pris appui sur une recherche de l’image et sur le discours verbal. This article seeks to contribute to the study of the problem of modalities from a tensive perspective. To do so, we will consider the atonic and tonic modalities. The theoretical proposal comes from the analysis of a persuasive discourse, produced in Mexico by the Secretariat of Health with the purpose of reducing the consumption of harmful food substances when ingested in excess. This work deepens the complex relationship between implicit and atonic modalities through the study of the visible labeling on the packaging of products offered for sale. These reflections were based on research on the image and on verbal discourse.
