Abstract
- In this brief report it is shown that without the use of language and/or complex tones, it has been possible to determine whether or not the potential of residual hearing is being fully utilized by the hearing impaired child or adult with or without an aid. Furthermore, because the system is one of direct and immediate comparison it can be used to confirm if the initial selection of a specific hearing prosthesis is potentially correct.
