Abstract
- Thyroid-function studies were performed in 12 patients with active acromegaly. 1 patient had thyrotoxicosis, the rest were considered euthyroid although 3 of them had abnormal thyroid scans. All patients had a normal serum thyroid-stimulating-hormone (T.S.H.) level. The euthyroid group had renal and thyroid iodide clearances significantly greater than normal (P
