Abstract
- The magnetic properties of as-cast amorphous ribbon alloys MG 2605 Co are settled over a frequency range 50 Hz-50 kHz and with applied tensile stresses up to 75 daN•mm −2 . The results show that the AC permeability increases with the applied stress σ. The influence of tensile load on the hysteresis loss and the eddy current loss is quite different according to the frequency. So, the results exhibit a reduction in total losses at the lower frequencies produced by the tensile stress and an increase at the higher frequencies.
