Acquiring, installing, and maintaining radiologic equipment

A lease contract for radiologic equipment may be structured to require a standard of installation and continued maintenance acceptable to the radiologist. To accomplish this goal the equipment company should provide total installation and maintenance. Other desirable provisions include relative uniformity of equipment brand and full-time service men. The responsibilities of the equipment company and the hospital must be clarified in detail.
