Abstract
- The Coronavirus pandemic has significantly impacted on the practice of colorectal surgery and other branches of medicine. In addition to disrupting patient care at every level, it has also decimated the normal business and structures that maintain the high quality of care that our patients expect. These vary from local departmental audits to the function of learned societies such as the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland. During this challenging and rapidly evolving era, clinicians crave communication and being connected to their peers.
