The role of nova nucleosynthesis in Galactic chemical evolution

Abstract
- In this paper we study the impact of nova nucleosynthesis on models for the chemical evolution of the Galaxy. It is found that novae are likely to be the sources of non-negligible fractions of the 7Li and 13C observed in disc stars. Moreover, they might be responsible for the production of important amounts of 17O at late times and probably account for a major fraction of the Galactic 15N.<br />4 pages, 2 figures; poster paper presented at the 47th Meeting of the Italian Astronomical Society, published on Memorie della Societa' Astronomica Italiana - Supplementi Vol.3, p.163
