Abstract
- Massive early-type galaxies have undergone dramatic structural evolution over the last 10 Gyr. A companion paper shows that nearby elliptical galaxies with M*>1.3x10^{11} M_sun generically contain three photometric subcomponents: a compact inner component with effective radius Re<br />Comment: To appear in The Astrophysical Journal Letter; 5 pages, 3 figures; This work is closely related to Huang et al. 2013, ApJ, please see http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2013ApJ...766...47H for more details
