Abstract

Laonice (Sarsiana) Sikorski, Gunton & Pavlova 2017 Laonice (Sarsiana): Sikorski et al. 2017: 962. Type species: Laonice sarsi Söderström, 1920. Diagnosis. Prostomium not obviously fused or non-fused with fronto-lateral peristomial margin. Anterolateral prostomial corners sometimes fused to peristomium by an inconspicuous (in dorsal view) membrane, often deeply sunken in prostomium/peristomium groove. Nuchal organs generally short (usually extending up to chaetiger 10). Dorsal transverse crests present or absent. Other numerical characters highly variable.
