Abstract
- AC Half-Wavelength transmission in UHV stage is an alternate for the long distance and large capacity power transmission, because of its unique characteristics. The characteristics half-wavelength transmission lines and conventional transmission lines are quite different. In this paper, digital simulation and dynamic simulation are carried out to study the electrical characteristics of half-wavelength AC transmission lines. Simulation results are compared and analyzed. The model and parameters of assumed half-wavelength transmission system are presented in this paper. The steady-state and transient characteristics of the half-wavelength AC transmission line are studied by digital simulation and dynamic simulation. The simulation results are given and analyzed. The validity of the digital simulation model was verified by the comparison of results of digital simulation and dynamic simulation.
