SummaryBackgroundEnteroviruses are seasonally prevalent each year in Southeast Asia. Elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) levels have been noted in minor populations of patients, and antibiotics may be prescribed under the impression of a suspected bacterial infection. This prescription might be inappropriate, resulting in further bacterial resistance and medical expense.
