Abstract
- Nectopsyche multilineata Flint 1983 ** Material examined. BRAZIL: Piauí: Coivaras, Riacho do Boi, Cachoeira da Campeira, 05°11’45.1”S, 42°15’33.9W, el. 177 m, 1 male, 12.iii.2017, L. R. C. Lima leg., Pennsylvania insect light trap (CEHJ); Novo Santo Antônio, Cachoeira da Coruja, 05°22’02.6”S, 41°59’52.9”W, el. 150 m, 1 female, 29.iii.2018, L. R. C. Lima leg., Light trap (CEHJ); Batalha, Rio Longá, Cachoeira do Urubu, 03°54’47.9”S, 42° 6’47.70”W, el. 80 m, 5 males, 07.ix.2018, L.A.S. Moreno leg., light trap (CEHJ). Known distribution. ARGENTINA, BRAZIL (Roraima), and VENEZUELA. Remarks. This species was reported from Piauí by Takiya et al. (2016) as Nectopsyche cf. multilineata, having the need to confirm its identity. We confirmed the presence of N. multilineata from Piauí based on six males collected in three municipalities. Besides that, its presence in this study represents the first record for Northeastern Brazil.<br />Published as part of Moreno, Lucas A.
