Abstract
- Varanus timorensis (Gray, 1831) — Erroneous. Spotted Tree Monitor Singapore records. No published records. Remarks. RBINS has three specimens of V. timoriensis catalogued under RBINS 12393. The three individuals died at the zoo of the Royal Zoological Society of Antwerp on 15 October 1973. As V. timoriensis is native to Timor, Pulau Semau, Pulau Rote, and Pulau Sawu in Indonesia (Pianka & King 2004), the three individuals were most likely sent to the Royal Zoological Society.
