A scoping review of primary care models and performance

This review aims to identify the different models of PC, identify core indicators of PC performance, and examine the previous studies that evaluated and compared PC models. A scoping review design seems to be the best fit for this purpose. This protocol presents a detailed step by step description of the proposed methods including research questions, search strategy, eligibility criteria for study selection (inclusion and exclusion criteria), data extraction and synthesis. This protocol will be registered with the Open Science Framework initiative before starting this review.
