Abstract

An emulsion spectrometer has been built and tested with pion beamsin a 0.7~T magnetic field.A momentum resolution, $\Delta \mathrm{P}/ \mathrm{P} =$ 13\% $\pm$ 1\%,has been obtained for 5 and 10 GeV/c particles.
