Abstract
- 8044 Background: NSCLC patients (p) frequently older with significant comorbidities and not considered suitable for platinum-based chemotherapy (CT). Weekly single-agent PCT offers potential for lower toxicity, increased exposure to the drug with alternative cytotoxic/cytostatic mechanisms. Methods: Stages IIIB (pleural effusion)-IV, > 70 y, creatinine clearance 1 site. Stage IV (distant metastases): 78%. Median creatinine clearance: 73 ml/min.
