Viburnum parvilimbum Merr

63. Viburnum parvilimbum Merr. (Caprifoliaceae) in Lingnan Sci. J. 13(1): 51. 1934. TYPE:— CHINA. Guangdong: Lechang, 5 January 1932, F. A. McClure 00616 (i.e. Lingnan University Herbarium 19795) (holotype: NY 00278645 image!; isotype: A 00031575 image!). The name Viburnum parvilimbum Merr. was validly published with a single gathering “ McClure 19795 ” in NY cited in the protologue (Merrill, 1934a). However, on the label of the holotype specimen, the collecting number is 00616 and the herbarium number is Lingnan University Herbarium 19795. Therefore, the erroneous collecting number in the protologue is to be corrected.
