Abstract
- Liquid-liquid equilibrium data at 25° were determined for the systems formed by divalent cobalt and nickel chlorides and their mixtures with water and n-butanol as solvents. The thermo-dynamic equilibrium relationship was empirically modified to obtain correlations relating the compositions of the phases in equilibrium, and equilibrium data for the mixtures can be predicted from an extension of the correlations for the individual metals.
