Abstract

International audience; This paper presents PID tuning method. The proposed method is based on the performances represented by a permitted domain for time response of the controlled system. To reach these performances, the controller parameters have to satisfy inequality constraints which can be solved by linear matrix inequality (LMI) methods. A brief introduction reviews the principle of parameters adjustment of a controller due to the model method. An approximate method of adjustment with respect to inequality constraints is considered. An optimal version is then given
