Abstract
- 1. 1. The digestive tracts of twenty-one marine invertebrate species of different systematic and ecological positions were qualitatively tested for glycosidase content by using several synthetic and natural triterpene and steroid glycosides as substrates. 2. 2. The species Colisella sp., Tellina lutea, Mercenaria stimpsoni, Macoma sp. and Patinopecten yessoensis showed the presence of a glycosidase.
