Abstract
- Phanera mekongensis, a new species from Phu Wua Wildlife Sanctuary, NortheasternThailand, is described and illustrated. The morphological description of the new species is provided and discussed in comparison with closely related species. The molecular data from nuclear and chloroplast markers show that the new taxon is robustly positioned in a well-supported Phanera clade that includes the type species of the genus, P. coccinea.
