In its effort to transfer the research achievements to the ruralsector, the agricultural European Innovation Partnership(EiP-AGRI) from the Directorate General of Agriculture ofthe European Commission has promoted Focus Groups thatgathered experts on a specific area to discuss strategiesaddressing current or emerging threats for Europe’s agriculture.TheFocus Group Robust and Resilient Dairy ProductionSystemsfocused on identifying the main threats for dairy pro-duction as well as suggesting the most promising and realisticstrategies to tackle them. Authors acknowledge the initiative ofthe EiP-AGRI, which gave the opportunity for discussionsthat results in this opinion paper.
