Hoya lancilimba Merr

31. Hoya lancilimba Merr. (Asclepiadaceae) in Lingnan Sci. J. 11(1): 54. 1932. TYPE:— CHINA. Hainan: Hongmao Shan, 23 August 1929, Ip Yuk Shing 727 (i.e. Lingnan University Herbarium Herbarium 18261) (holotype: NY 00318648 image!; isotype: A 00076417 image!). Merrill (1932) cited only one gathering, Ip Yuk Shing 18261 (NY), in the protologue of Hoya lancilimba Merr.. However, the collecting number on the label of the holotype specimen is 727, while the herbarium number is Lingnan University Herbarium 18261. Therefore, the collecting number is to be corrected.
