Abstract

Euseius tularensis Congdon Euseius tularensis Congdon, in Congdon & McMurtry, 1985: 25; Moraes et al., 2004: 85; Demite et al., 2015. This species was not collected in this study. It is most similar to E. hibisci and E. quetzali, from which it is distinguished primarily by the insertion of setae r 3 (in the unsclerotised cuticle in E. hibisci and E. quetzali and usually in the dorsal shield in E. tularensis) and by the length of the peritreme (extending up to the level j 3 in E. hibisci and E. quetzali and at most to the level of z 2 in E. tularensis). Measurements of this species are also provided by Congdon & McMurtry (1986).
Published as part of Lopes, Paula C., Mcmurtry, James A. & De Moraes, Gilberto J., 2015, Definition of the concordis species group of the genus Euseius (Acari: Phytoseiidae), with a morphological reassessment of the species included, pp. 174-190 in Zootaxa 4048 (2) on page 185, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4048.2.2, http://zenodo.org/record/241225
{"references":["Moraes, G.
