- Iberis linifolia Linnaeus, Systema Naturae, ed. 10, 2: 1129. 1759. ["Habitat in Hispania, Lusitania."] Sp. Pl., ed. 2, 2: 906 (1763). RCN: 4722. Lectotype (Moreno in Collect. Bot. (Barcelona) 15: 344. 1984): G��rard s.n. , Herb. Linn. No. 827.9 (LINN; iso- Draguignan). Current name: Iberis linifolia L. subsp. linifolia (Brassicaceae). Note: Tison (in Monde Pl. 468: 30. 2000) states that there is a well-preserved isotype in G��rard���s herbarium in Draguignan.<br />Published as part of Jarvis, Charlie, 2007, Chapter 7: Linnaean Plant Names and their Types (part I), pp. 586-598 in Order out of Chaos.
