Short term planning methods for infrastructure maintenance and renovation works

The exemples of three infrastructure assets, dams, road bridges and water networks illustrate how risk management principles can lead to various priorisation methods for annual maintenance and renovation works : « hazard analysis » of dams, Sétra method for road bridges, and MEDIREL method implemented for the water network in Lausanne. These methodologies are presented according to vulnerable stakes exposed to possible failures, hazard charaterization, and ranking of actions aiming at risk mitigation in the short term.; La gestion patrimoniale des infrastructures implique la prise en compte des risques inhérents à chaque type d'ouvrage et de réseau, pour définir des actions prioritaires en termes de travaux d'entretien et de rénovation. Cet article s'intéresse ici à trois types d'infrastructures aussi différents que les barrages, les ouvrages d'art routiers et les réseaux d'eau potable, et nous montre comment un même principe de gestion du risque peut être décliné en différentes méthodes de priorisation des actions de maintenance du patrimoine.
