Cycloptiloides cf. americanus (Saussure, 1874) — i) courtship song, 4.9 and 5.9 kHz; long chirps lasting 1.9 s ± 0.27 (1.6–2.43, n = 10), 22 and 24ºC; chirp rate was not obtained because the song recording is very short, and the chirps rhythm is irregular; ii) State of São Paulo, municipality of Rio Claro; iii) present paper.
