- KEY POINTS An 81-year-old man presented to our hospital with signs and symptoms suggestive of a left middle cerebral artery stroke. The patient had a history of stable coronary artery disease, ischemic cardiomyopathy with a left ventricular ejection fraction of 45%, well-controlled hypertension
