Еволюція поглядів художньої інтелігенції під час Української Революції 1917–1921 рр

Проаналізовано процеси еволюції політичних, світоглядних, етично-моральних, матеріально-побутових та професійних поглядів і позицій художньої інтелігенції України під час Української революції 1917–1921 рр. Показано, що художня інтелігенція України, рятуючись під гаслами аполітичності від нав’язливої політики багатьох різних влад, прагнула продовжувати улюблену роботу заради не тільки виживання, але й потреби професійної та художньої творчості. І, нарешті, висвітлена трансформація позицій художньої інтелігенції України стосовно ставлення до радянської влади, оскільки остаточно була встановлена в Україні та схиляла на свою сторону стару художню інтелігенцію, без якої про культурний розвиток або культурне життя не могло йтися.
The aim of this paper is to analyze the processes of evolution of views and convictions of the artistic intelligentsia of Ukraine relating to the attitude to different authorities and, first of all, to the Soviet authorities, within the period of the 1917-1921 Ukrainian Revolution.Research methodology. In this study the author uses the principles and methods of historical and culturological as well as comparative analysis of the events and phenomena concerning the interrelations of the old artistic intelligentsia and various authorities, first of all, the Soviet ones, during the 1917-1921 Ukrainian Revolution. Results. Drawing on the analysis of the transformation of the views and convictions of the old artistic intelligentsia concerning relations with various authorities, including the Soviet governement, the author studies the fate of not only the various groups of the artistic intelligentsia of Ukraine but also their individual representatives during the 1917-1921 Ukrainian Revolution. The processes of evolution of political, ideological, ethical, moral, everyday and professional views and actions of the artistic intelligentsia during that period are analyzed. The paper demonstrates that in spite of the aggressive policy of many authorities, the old artistic intelligentsia of Ukraine being indifferent to political activity continue to work. The study focuses on the transformation of the convictions of the artistic intelligentsia of Ukraine concerning the attitude towards the Soviet power.Novelty. The author studies the processes of interrelations of the old artistic intelligentsia of Ukraine and the Soviet authorities during the 1917-1921 Ukrainian Revolution drawing on new factual, mainly archival material. Special attention is paid to the identification of peviously unknown information and names of artists participating in the artistic life of those days.The practical significance. The information contained in this paper can be used in the process of further culturological research into the issues of cultural life in Ukraine, Ukrainian and world history and theory of culture. It can also be used by students, postgraduates, doctoral students and lecturers in the process of studying the issues of culturology.
