Abstract
- We prepared N- and H-co-doped Cu-B as sensing materials for hydrogen chloride (HCl) detection at room temperature through a liquid plasma technique for the first time. Being used as an advanced Cu-B-N-H-based capacitive sensor, it showed a linear response to HCl at concentrations as low as 200ppb, with a detection limit of 10ppb. The sensor also featured good detection selectivity towards HCl versus methane, nitrogen dioxide, hydrogen, and benzene. Furthermore, the sensor showed outstanding HCl-sensing performance compared with those of previously reported sensing materials.
