Abstract

In this work, we report a >100 W femtosecond (fs) burst mode all-fiber laser system at 1.0 µm that operates at an intra-burst repetition rate of up to 1.2 GHz. This fiber laser system provides the highest output power that has been reported so far for GHz fs fiber lasers, to the best of our knowledge.
