Abstract
- To the Editor: We read with great interest the article by Gisbert et al. (1), which investigated giving vaccine against hepatitis B virus (HBV) at an accelerated, double dosage in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The overall seroconversion rate was low, particularly in those receiving biological therapy. Immunosuppressants, however, did not affect vaccine efficacy (1).
