Abstract
- Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is a rare autosomal dominant genetic disease characterised by systemic hamartomas or benign tumours which affects multiple organs including brains, kidneys, heart, liver, eyes, lungs and skin due to inappropriate activation of mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR)
